Wednesday

1 pm – 4 pm           – Wonder Women & Bobby!-  with Benita McNider (Weekly on-going)

Loose as a goose to tight as a wad, photo realistic to mixed media abstraction-you can try it all with Benita’s help and art instruction—technique, color mixing, models, set ups, etc., in this user friendly open-studio-type class.

You should have a prepared canvas coated with at least 1 extra coat of gesso. If you want to tone your canvas, do so with gesso mixed with a little (acrylic) raw umber to make a light warm gray color.  My preferred list of colors is Titanium White, Cadmium yellow light, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Cadmium Red Medium, Alizarine Crimson, Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber, Ultramarine Blue,  Cerulean Blue, Sap green, and Yellow Ocher. I like to use a little Viridian sometimes for seascapes.

Thursday

1 to 4 pm           -From Composition to Color- with Nancy Wininger (Weekly on-going)

Expand & improve your artistic process in either acrylic, colored pencil or pen & ink with watercolor in one convenient place.  Whichever of the three mediums you choose, you will receive fresh ideas, advice & quality instruction.  You will learn the essentials and how to adapt those skills to your practice whether you doodle or create fine art.  Explore, evolve your talents, & find inspiration in this class to help create your best work.  ALL skill levels welcomed.
