SUBMISSIONS
& MEDIA for 2012 SHOW
Photographers, 18 years of age
and older, may submit three (3) original photographs in black-and-white
or color.
Entries must be matted, mounted on foam board and wrapped
in clear plastic, properly wired,
labeled and ready to hang. Photographs
(no frames, please) should not
exceed 16” x 20”, including mats. An
Identification Tag, provided on this entry Form,
will be completed and attached to the back of each photograph.
Entries will be received at Bay
Rivers Art Guild on the dates given herein.
Photographs will hang until June 5, 2012. Insurance coverage will cease at 4 PM on June
5, 2012. A storage fee of $1 a day will
be charged any photography left at BRAG after June 6th. You, or your representative, must sign out
your photography on the Conditions of Exhibitions form before
removal from the premises.
SALES & INFORMATION
-Sale prices are to include the 25% commission owed to
BRAG. The commission will be applied to
any item sold from any Exhibition sponsored by BRAG. This includes those items sold with 30 days
of the close of the Exhibit. The sales
tax is additional.
-Not for Sale (NFS) insurance valuations must be in line
with prices of comparable work by the photographer.
-No work exhibited may be removed unless specifically
authorized by the Exhibition Chairperson during the period of the Exhibit;
this includes items sold.

John Estes’ photography
specializes in movie production stills, portraits, weddings and fine art nature
prints. He has worked as the still
photographer for the Discovery Channel documentary entitled “Shipwreck” and
with 12 full-length feature films.
An experienced underwater
photographer, John is available to travel anywhere. Besides numerous art/gallery exhibits, and
more than 100 weddings, his images have appeared in national magazines such as
Southern Living, Rodale’s Scuba Diving Magazine, International Dive Travel
Magazine, The American Rose Annual, Location Update – a Film and Video
Magazine, Mobile Bay Monthly, Registered
Rep financial Magazine, TV Guide, and The Travel Guide for the Toronto
Sun Newspaper.
John is a member of the
International Cinematographers Guild Local 600, listed on the Industry
Experience Roster and a member of The Professional Photographers of
America. John shoots with professional
Nikon equipment and a Jacobson Blimp.
