A Creative Journey by Autry Dye
BRAG member Autry Dye has just published her first art book, A Creative Journey.  The goal of the book was to gather a collection of paintings that covers a wide range of her painting styles.  While doing that she also wanted to show consistent quality.  She doesn't fee one style of painting is better than another, and has that from time to time, they all give her a certain satisfaction.

Over the years people have asked her what she was trying to say when they look one of her paintings.  She has tried to explain this on some of the pieces and how they were crreated.

The book has fewer than thirty pages, with thirty-nine images, commentary and two poems.  The poem that are part of the book are appropriate to the place in the book or to the piece.
.
A Ceative Journey can be ordered from www.blurb.com .  Go to the bookstore, search under Arts and Photography, and type in the title A Creative Journey by Autry Dye

Autry won "Best of Show" with her painting "Erector Set" at the Penscaola Museum of Art Juried Members Exhibition.
